Willow Pumps Limited
Willow Pumps can offer a full range of packaged Cold Water Booster Sets from the following Manufacturers:
The range we can offer are fully WRAS approved and can achieve flow rates up to 100litres/second with pressures up to 25bar. We can offer the best pumping solutions for your individual projects taking in to account the need for the most efficient pumps being configured and controlled in the most efficient way.
This can be achieved using our expertise in the industry with nearly 20 years experience working with Public Health Design Consultants, M & E Contractors, Local Authorities and House Builders and hands on approach to problem solving.
We work with our clients from design concept to project completion ensuring that design, manufacture, installation and commissioning is kept within client and project deadlines.
Other areas of expertise include the causes, effects and how to prevent the “destructive phenomenon” known as hydraulic shock. We can ensure that your project does not suffer from this costly problem by involving us at design concept.
Willow Pumps will offer a solution to any pumping requirement and we are committed to helping our clients reduce their energy costs along with their Carbon Footprint by designing and offering the most efficient products available on the market.
Every Cold Water Booster Set that Willow Pumps supply will be “a complete packaged set” utilising either fixed speed or variable speed pumps (dependant on application) and they will include “dry running” protection, anti vibration mounts, suitably sized hydraulic accumulators, and all controls either via intelligent invertors which communicate with each other or via controls within a control panel.
Willow Pumps offer as optional extras, anti surge/vacuum devices and flexible connections ensuring everything you require can be supplied in one package.
Drawings (2D & 3D) are available for all of our booster sets along with O&M manuals full technical submittals and a copy of the WRAS certificate.
Cold Water Storage Tanks
Willow Pumps can also offer a comprehensive range of GRP one & two piece tanks externally & internally flanged sectional tanks with central divisions and raised float valve chambers to suit your project requirements.
Drawings can be supplied in either 2D or 3D, and a mark up drawing will be sent to the customer to ensure all connection pads are cut in the correct position for the project application.
A range of accessories are available, including equilibrium float valves or Aylesbury float valves, content gauges, high and low level switches, temperature gauges and all the required connections including outlets, warning pipes and overflow pipes.
Smaller one and two piece tanks can be mounted on a bespoke steel frame which we can fabricate to help reduce the footprint allowing the booster set to be installed beneath.
The sectional tanks are delivered directly to site and assembled on site by trained engineers, we offer base levelling steels which our engineers will place into position and level with shims to ensure the tank is built on a completely level base.
Willow Pumps also offer a cleaning and chlorinating service in accordance with BS EN 806 with guidance from BS 8558:2011-guide to the design, installation, testing & maintenance of services supplying water for domestic use within buildings.
We are also committed to helping our clients maintain the water hygiene within their buildings by offering regular water sampling and legionella risk assessments all in line with L8 ACOP ensuring the buildings water supply is kept to the best quality.
CAT 5 Combined Break Tank and Booster Set.
Willow Pumps offer a range of CAT 5 sets for applications such as irrigation or wash down sets where there may be a risk of back contamination to the town’s main water supply.
These combination packaged sets can be built to achieve the flow and pressure required utilising 1 or 2 pumps (usually but not limited to) with a suitably sized break tank either mounted on the same skid or on a purpose build frame above the pumps to minimise the footprint.
These packaged sets are fully WRAS approved and can be offered with either fixed speed or variable speed pumps-dependant on application.
Willow pumps can offer a full comprehensive range of Pressurisation Units for Chilled Water, LTHW, MTHW and HTHW systems up to 500kw loads (standard units).
These units can be wall or floor mounted cabinets with single or twin pump options and utilise an electronic controller with digital display and full BMS connectivity.
Larger systems or systems with higher temperatures are better served by our “spill back” range of units which utilise a “spill tank” into which the “expanded water” is spilled into on boiler(s) heating cycle (expansion) and then the water is pumped back into the system when the boiler(s) shut down and the system contracts.
Again all the units have an electronic controller and the spill tanks can be constructed of high temperature GRP or stainless steel. The pump modules can consist of 2 or 3 pumps to ensure the optimum pump back rate is achieved.
Willow Pumps can offer a full range of domestic and commercial circulators including fixed and variable speed versions, single or twin head options and DHW return pumps.
All of the pumps we offer are the most efficient and are ErP compliant.
